Welcome to BYC Clay & Jenny! I'm in the eastern part of Texas. This is the first time I've had to deal with frozen waterers in 3 or 4 years. I haven't done anything extra except add extra bedding so far. I have a heat lamp for my open air coop just in case they need it, but I won't be adding any heat to my other two coops. It got down to 8 here a few years ago and they did fine without heat.
