We lost our sweet Dorcas (Pekin Grimaud) today.

She wasn't even 2 months old. But we noticed that she seemed to struggle at times when she walked, as if it was an effort to do so. My husband thinks she had a stroke as they all panicked when he got near the pen and he says she just kind of fell over and kicked her feet. And before he could come get me he says she was gone. Is this common to the breed?

We aren't too sure. We're just stunned how fast it happened and how young she was. At least it wasn't something horrible like a predator attack.
