We found this chicken or bird on our road can someone please tell us whether it is a chicken if it is, tell us or if it is a male/female

It's too young to tell if its male or female. give it a couple months and it'll crow or not. looks like a 3 month old pullet.

I'd say post it's picture on the quail section, if you go under "other backyard poultry" there's a place where the quail folks hang out and can help you a lot more than us chickens!

I have some quails and that is a quail like others said.. Most likely a female cause of the bald spot near her head is from mating.
