So, a few of you may remember me posting a long while back about my dad's job situation. For those of you who don't remember, I'll give a "brief" summary.

My dad is a high school P.E. teacher. A student (6 foot something--I don't remember how much he weighed) started harassing another student and was going to start a fight. My dad (5 foot something, and only around 130 pounds--we don't have too much size in our family

) got between them, intending only to break it up. The student starting the fight then turned on my dad.

Long story short, my dad came home with a bloody head and face, a broken knuckle, and was in a small state of shock. Now, I don't want to make it sound like my dad was the only one who suffered injuries, but when you go up against a high schooler who is much heftier and taller, well, it's pretty much assumed that you probably won't win. The student was left with a bump on his head, and a loose tooth. This all happened in January, 2012.

Anyways, my dad's job was put in jeopardy. First, they took away my dad's pay check, briefly. We didn't have an income for about 4 months. Then the many papers to sign and a lawyer to find. Then the trial. The school board (or whatever they are called--it's been sooo long and I can't remember) appealed the ruling (which was is my dad's favor, and awarded him his job), and now in 5 days we have the final ruling (unless they decide to appeal that one too). We should know the result on the 21st.

Please pray not that my dad would just get his job back, but we would appreciate it if you prayed for God's will. It's in his hands, and we're trusting him.

Oh, just in case you were wondering, my dad has recovered and is fine now.

Thanks.

Sending prayers and I hope everything works out well for your Dad.

Your dad has been put in a very unfair situation, the school are just covering their own backs by suspending him when they should of supported him
Sounds like a nightmare or all of you and I'm glad he's ok now, good luck with this ruling I hope they see sense x
