We need your photos!!!

Hey everyone,

Maybe you have been following the sticky thread about progressive chick photos. Some of us are putting together a database of photos of different breeds of chicks as they develop to help people identify their "mystery chicks"!

We need your help!!!!

Can you provide pictures of your chicks as they grow?

We are looking for any breed, male and female, weekly photos from day one (egg if you have it!) to mature. If you don't have a whole series but can help with some that's great!

If you know you will be able to contribute photos of a certain breed(s) please let us know. We want to have as many breeds represented as possible so we will start asking people for photos after we know what has already been volunteered.

You can upload photos to http://photobucket.com/BYCUploadChickPhotos on photobucket, or go to the link on my first post and you can send them directly to the person on BYC that's handling your breed. Whatever is easier for you!

Ohiostatfan - Can you put the age and sex of the chick in each picture down. I'm not sure if it will let you edit this info or not. If it won't let you edit it can you pm me with that info, please?

For anyone putting photos on this site please name your pictures as follows: Breed, Color, sex, Age. EG. Orpington Buff Pullet 2 weeks

You also have the option of putting a tag with the photo. If you would like credit for the photo please put your BYC sign in name or whatever name you want shown with the photo in this tag line for every photo so we know who volunteered it! Thanks!

For anyone not completely sure how to use the photobucket site to upload photos for this project here are some tips, and don't hesitate to pm me with questions.

You need an account in photobucket, so if you don't have one already you will have to sign up. Sign into your account and then go to www.photobucket.com/BYCUploadChickPhotos

Somewhere on the left side it says add to favorites. Do that so you can easily find the site the next time you log into photobucket.

Once you are on that site all you have to do is click the button in the middle of the screen at the top that says "upload now" and it will walk you through uploading your photos.

No password is needed!
