We don't hand feed at all. We also don't handle any of the hens,the roos are calmer that way. The hens will jump up on our knees but they aren't squawking so everything is is good with the roos who also jump up.

Have you read the thread, "you might be a chickenneck if you...." Well you might be a chickenneck if you have your lawn chair in the pen with your chicks!!! Love it!! and you might be a chickenneck if you let them eat food from your mouth!!!
