We started a new flock

    We have not even named them yet but we brought home the new flock Saturday (oct 15ht)

    After a tentative night hanging out in a nesting box, they relaxed and started to explore the coop and the bridge to
    the run.

    We are excited about the blue andalusians as the last ones we got we black splashes with nasty dispositions.

    Everybody is jumpy but the marins already have a calm disposition. When everyone is freaking out, they just chill

    Fine looking flock! Yeah, those Mediterranean class breeds - like Andalusians - are pretty skittish. I have tended away from that class of poultry in preference to breeds that are more calm and relaxed. Yours sure are beautiful! Thanks for posting!

    I agree, very nice flock :) I like the use of the branch (Or is that a small tree?) for a perch, gives the coop more character.
