We started our coop!

We finally started our larger walk-in style chicken coop. I'm so excited! It is about 5 times the size of current size so about 10x12. We broke ground on Friday and almost have the framing done. I'm hoping we will have it closed in and usable by next weekend, since we are picking up another flock of birds to integrate with our existing flock. Here are a few lousy pictures from my camera phone...I was too lazy to get my camera

looks great I find that putting 2 flocks together seems to be easier when they all go into a new coop together less pecking and fighting. Good luck with your coop and your new additions Micki

We got the windows for free and the decking for free. My father-in-law has some rolled roofing we can have and we are trying to find anything else free that we can
