These three ducks are a male and two females. They are hilarious, but I haven't noticed them running for feed. We feed regular organic laying feed and they have been laying. We just have chicken feed available. What are some treats ducks like and is there any definciency in the chicken laying food that I should go out of my way for these ducks. They are black with a green shimmer on their neck and heads. We really like them and want them to stay healthy and be happy.

Sounds like you have picked up Cayugas, very beautiful ducks. Ducks like peas [thawed] meal worms, dried or fresh, shredded lettuce , mine like chopped tomatoes, kale, if you have chicken feed then be sure to put out some oyster shell for the ducks so they will have nice hard shells on their eggs. If you can get them a kiddie pool they will be mst grateful and it will help keep them clean and parasite free. Enjoy your new ducks.

You might want to consider Niacin supplements at some time because ducks seem to get deficient in it from time to time. Not sure what kind or how much, but others here might know. You might not need it if they freerange and eat fresh vegetables and insects. I'm not sure about layer food being good for the males, but I think others have had drakes eat it with no problem. Oyster shell on the side is a good idea and females will eat that when needed.

It has been my experience (albeit limited) that ducks, unlike chickens do not get excited at feeding time. Our chickens rush to the feeders when we fill them, the ducks could care less. They just eat when the feel like it. Frozen peas, as has already been mentioned are another story. They recognize the Great Value (WalMart house brand) bag and rush to get them.

As for oyster shell; I just keep a small bowl that I made (about 6" x 6" x 2") with a weed control fabric bottom for drainage sitting out all of the time. Seems to work.
