About a month ago I treated my flock for corrdid due to suspected coccidia. I wasn't home for a few days and then when I got home, we noticed one of my hens had her legs splayed to the side, couldn't get up and very lethargic. I treated her with electrolytes and Poultry cell. After several days she passed away. During this time I had a roo become a little lethargic and start limping. I treated him right away with poultry cell and gave him selenium. He became more himself but still limping. Its been about 2 weeks and he's been doing pretty good besides the limping. A few days ago, I went out to the coop and one of my hens got pecked on the head. She has a large wound from it. I started her on poultry cell, vetricyn and neosporin. The wound has been healing fairly well. She was slightly uncoordinated right away, I figured from her head injury. However, now she is more uncoordinated and limping. What is going on with my birds?! Someone said it could be mareks?? I was thinking originally thiamine deficiency from the corrid treatment. But im at a loss now. The rest of my birds seem to be doing okay though. Thoughts???

Welcome. I would get some human super b complex vitamins and give 1/4 tablet daily for a couple of weeks to see if they improve. Crush it in some food or a spoonful of water. Here is a good price for it:

If you lose a bird, contact your state vet for a necropsy and keep the body cold before you take it in.

Thank you. I will pick some up first thing in the morning and start giving it. She is now laying down on her left side and legs splayed out to the right and is having trouble standing. 🤞🏻 that the vit b will help her
