Weak chick. Acting like it's still in egg

Once it gets active then feed and water it. They are sleepy while they absorb the yolk.

Okay will do. He seems to be getting better even from the last 5 minutes.

My last chick after a few hours after it hatched it was running around like crazy and so were my last 6 chicks this year so that's why I'm worrying more about this little guy.

Have you put it back with its siblings?..They will teach it to eat and drink..

It was but I brought it inside because he was cold. Soon I will but him back with the other chick that hatched about 2-3 days ago. The rest are almost 2 weeks and very rowdy so I don't feel comfortable putting a little chick with bigger, stronger ones yet.

You assisted a bit so sometimes it takes them longer to find their legs and get moving. I think it should be okay..

Give it a mirror and a Teddy to cuddle to in It's Brooder. Use your finger and peep to it as you show it feed and water. Dip its beak in the water.

Today if it's active..sprinkle the feed on the paper towel and peep and use your finger like a beak to show it how to eat..

Any chick that I have to assist or is week I give a drop of poly-vi-sol (non iron) or sugar water.

If you have another smaller Chick you can bring it in to buddy up with this one and teach it things. Then they can both go back with the others.
