I just bought the last 4 golden lace wyandotte at RK. One had pasty butt at sale time but I insisted on buying the pasty butted chick because you need to buy 4 and I didn't want anything else. They were silent on the ride home, usually chicks peep loudly their indignation. They seemed very lethargic with runny BM's. Anyhow, almost overnight they have turned around. They are feathered out about the same as yours so they are about the same age. What I did was dipped their bills in sugar water, put them under heat with fresh bedding. I cleaned up the dirty butted chick first. Afterwards I wiped up any new droppings. Most were messy. And the first shallow bowl of water I left out had a little sugar in it which I saw all four drinking heartily. I'm feeding them show/game bird chick feed. Look at your chick's legs. I bet they are very thin compared to other chicks. I'm thinking some bags of chick feed are low protein despite labeling otherwise. Day two I'm feeding greens, mealworms, fresh water and the game feed. I'm worried they have coccidiosis so I'm keeping them isolated. However, all are running around like they should be and their bottoms have cleaned up. Their dropping seem more normal. At purchase their body weight felt right, which meant they were eating and drinking well before I got them. I have bought GLW and SLW at the same place a few months ago and had the same problem. One died in the box on the ride home. Other chicks from the same place no problem. It may be the division that's chunking out Wyandottes has some issues. I don't get the impression that variety of chicken is delicate, quite the opposite.

It's hard to tell by this picture. It may just be fluff in the front but she does look to have a very large chest for a chick. What does her crop feel like now?

Her crop feels like a grape right now. About the same size of a grape too

That is good, I would check the size again at night. Im not sure what time it is for you. It 2:30 pm for me. I would not feed her anymore let her eat if she wants too. With a crop that size she is stuffed. By morning it should be empty. That will be good sign her digestion is working.

The best way to tell if a chick or chicken is eating is to check the crop. Empty in the morning full at night.

She also falls over really easily. I gave her a bit of water just now, and I set her down gently. Still, she fell over forwards, and I had to nudge her up. It doesn't look like she has splayed leg, but what's going on?
