Weak Chicken - what to do?

12 week old chicken’s legs seem weak. The chick wobbles, uses wings to keep balanced and falls backwards often. It will sit in a brooding position. Legs appear to quiver at times. Chick was born with a left splayed leg. Used vet tape during first week of life to correct. Also some of the toes are crooked. What might this be? What might help? Eats and drinks fine.

Bonus questions: is this a pullet or a cockerel? What breed (mixed)?

I am a casual fan of my neighbor’s chicks but I’ve spent a lot of time with their new hatches (now 12 weeks old) while they were out of town. These chicks seem to have many issues. One has a cross beak. Another passed from a crop issue. And one was born with a weak neck and recovered. Thanks for any assistance.

I would be giving it a b complex or super b complex tablet or capsule, once a day, every day to see if it helps. Human ones from any pharmacy. Deficiency in the B's can cause some of these symptoms. Some of the toes look wonky, they may have been injured at some point and healed that way. Right now nothing is screaming cockerel to me except the redder comb, but some of them mature slower than others, so time will tell. No idea on breed, maybe a mix.

Thank you. Definitely a mix.
