Weak leg issues

Thanks. She's not eating now. Been giving her droppers of water. I read more about mercks. Her legs are just week not locked up. Does that still lean towards it?. Her eyes are normal still. Im not sure what to do if it is mercks.

Mareks disease can have many different symptoms. There are 4 types-- the type that affects the nerves which may cause weakness or paralysis in one or both legs or wings; the type that causes tumors in internal organs; one that causes skin lesions and tumors; and the type that can cause eye color changes, pupil size changes, and blindness. Sometimes you may only see one type or symptom. It can cause subtle changes or sudden paralysis and death. Some will eat readily, while others starve themselves. It can take some time to watch her. Some get better, only later to get worse.

I've never had to deal with this before. Im freaking out a bit. She was vaccinated as a chick too. Should I make her a slibg then or wait to see if she makes it another day.

Luckily the other ones I lost weren't related to this. Most were either from shipping or accidents and a mean turkey. First time for this. No one else is sick yet. I want to send it out but with my schedule not sure if I can ship till Tue.

I am very sorry that you lost her. A necropsy could give you a diagnosis if you ask for Mareks testing as well. The body must be refrigerated and shipped or taken on ice packs to the state vet or poultry lab on Monday AM. One of these links below should be the right one to contact:
