So I'm wondering if it's common for goslings to outgrow their leg strength a bit. My 16 day old Shetlands seem to get tired awfully quick and mostly graze laying down. They will put their wings out and run to follow me but when they stop, down they go.

They get a Flock Grower, started at 20% protein now dropped to 16-18%. They graze daily and get nutritional yeast in their food for niacin.

Anything else I should be doing for them?

I'd pick up some B Complex liquid from TSC in the cattle section. we are seeing great things from it for ducklings having weakness in their legs. Also water therapy is a good way to help them build up leg strength

The B Complex says injectable but give 1 ML per gosling daily orally. I think you'll see improvement pretty quick

Thank you I'll grab some tomorrow. They seem to be quite well but I'd rather give them a little extra help.

Maybe I'll bring them in for a bath tomorrow. They actually show no interest in playing in the water, seems odd.

I have a drake that does this. Hes just lazy. So hopefully your ducklings lazy too. Vitamin are always good definitely give it a try.
