I have a 10-12 week old Silver laced Wyandotte that was acting lethargic a few days ago. She would still eat and drink, but I picked her up and realized she was basically skin and bones.... I quarantined her to make sure she would have adequate access to food/water.

After doing a little research I checked for worms and yes, she had them in her poo. I treated her (and the rest of the flock) with some Valbazen. Then, when I was holding her I noticed a little bug on my arm... Upon further inspection I realized they were from her. (my first experience with both worms and lice.. Such joy! ) I dusted her with Sevin and haven't found any alive lice on her since.

It's been 2 days since I've treated her and she still seems so weak. She is still eating and drinking, but otherwise just stays all puffed up and sleeps. Sometimes she tries to walk and seems to nosedive. Wondering of there are vitamins or some sort of protein boost or something I can give her to help her out. I know this was probably just a lot for her little system to deal with, but anything extra I can do for her I will!!

Well, unfortunately she didn't make it. I know I tried everything, but still feel bad I wasn't able to get her to bounce back. I'm thinking that I must not have caught things early enough and her system was just too weak.
