my new hens are finally starting to lay.. one of the buffs eggs has such thin shells if you touch it to hard it collapses. there is oyster shell available and none of the other hens.. buffs, ee's and silver lace seem to have the thin shells.. any suggestions? will she out grow it or do i need to put calcium in her water?

I will be interested to hear what others think but I would not worry too much. As long as they have an adundance of the oyster shell available at all times, I think the shells will harden up as you have said they are new layers. What a pretty flock you have.
