yeah seriously, ya gotta have protection under the trees!! I have icicles(some with limbs still in them) falling to the ground like crazy off the trees! It sounds like machine gun fire hitting the tin roof of the shed right now. Chickies better stay inside or get skewered! The sounds of a dying ice storm......sigh.

But it's sooo cool looking! I've been walking around in the woods all day. It's almost surreal. My DH says it looks like Narnia.

brings back memories of the '08' ice storm in our area. it wasn't fun for most people but it was ok for us being so close to the Dept of Public works and the electric co. office. too many people went for almost 2 weeks without power in the towns. my sister was one of them and she lived near a big city!

Only one night here with no power! Thankfully this is not bad, otherwise I might not be in such a humorous mood about it

It CAN be very dangerous indeed! I hope everyone is safe and warm, Lord knows this was a huge storm! We were on the edge of it for most of it, so we did not get hit quite as hard as some folks. I pray for those who have it worse!​
