Can weather effect your egg count/size? If so, how? As in, when do they lay the most/biggest eggs, or the least/smallest eggs? Thanks!

Yes weather can effect egg count and sometimes size. When it is hot they need energy and water to fight the heat and this stresses them. Being stressed causes them to slow down the egg production. The egg production is best in cooler weather.

Yesterday their eggs were nice sized. Perfect eggs. It was sunny and cool. Today their eggs were very small. It's cool but rainy. Silly chickens and their mood swings.
It would be interesting if people posted the things they've noticed that effect their egg production/size- weather, events, etc.
