I also feed egg shells, as we have plenty. People return cartons and shells every week.

They eat the OS but like the ES the best.

You have young, new layers so I wouldn't sweat it too much yet - new layers can be very glitchy as their bodies figure out this whole process.

It wouldn't hurt to give her calcium citrate tablets as suggested to see if it fixes the issue, but it might also resolve itself in time.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions!
We are going to hold off on the calcium for now and just add OS.
Surprisingly, the egg was a double yolk and Hubby said it/they tasted just fine.
