Confusing sapphire gems

I wouldn't do that. You can't make her broody, her hormones control that. When she stays on the nest day and night for three nights you may consider her broody and give her some eggs.
 
Also, I do not give my broodies food and water near the nest. It's good for them to get off the nest, stretch their legs, eat, drink, poop (off the nest!), and dust bathe. You may not see her do it but she probably does. When you give her eggs, mark them and remove any fresh eggs daily. I mark with Sharpie as pencil wears off wuickly.
 
To reiterate what someone else said, if you want her to go broody, completely ignore her and let her do her thing. If you mess with her too much when she's trying to go broody you might break her. You can't make her go broody but you can certainly stop her from being broody. If she is going broody, she'll be full on broody with time, just be patient
