weather is forecast to turn bad

i am in lock down and they have forecast a storm and winds up 70 miles, i am worried about power cut.

Do you have access to a generator for backup power? Obviously not for use in the house but outside with an extension cord and a splitter so that other applicances (not as important as the incubator, of course!) can be plugged in. I hope your hatch is successful. I think there have been other posts talking about how to keep the bator warm in cases like this. Good luck!

well we were lucky the weather did not turn out as bad as they predicted. thank goodness, and this morning one of the eggs had a little hole in it. so excited.
