So it is rainy and 50-60 degrees. But my chicks are 6 weeks old and running out of room in the brooder.......what to do?

At six weeks of age so long as they have a dry place to get out of the wind and rain and plenty of fresh feed and water they should be OK.

Agreed. As long as they have a safe place out of the rain and wind, they are old enough to go outside. If you are concerned about the low temps, you can add a low watt heat lamp in the coop. Mine are 5 weeks and they will be in the coop full time by 6 weeks. They are out there all day now and it's barely above 50 degrees during the day. Just haven't been brave enough to let them go all night yet, I'm a softie.
