My 3 hens are usually pretty tolerant of each other and of me handling them. But this evening they weren't.
None of them were vicious and they did let me hold them for a quick inspection as I do almost every day. But they were noticeably more impatient and quicker to peck each other more than usual. They have plenty of food, water and room. There was more than enough BSFL and cabbage scraps to go around, but there was more fussing about who had which leaf. I get 2-3 eggs a day. They're active and scratching and acting chickeny otherwise.
I’m wondering if the expected storm might be affecting them?

Interesting observation.

Possible weather can affect them. I have not noticed it, but we don't have too many severe storms that frequently.

I hadn't noticed it prior to other storms, but we're supposed to get almost a week of rain with multiple days of thunderstorms. And we've had a significant cool front. Maybe the hens are just moody today.
