Weed free yard??? can I have one with chickens.

I want to have a nice looking yard... but still have my chckens roming where they want.....

what can I use to remove the weeds and have a nice yard.....

I was guessing all the weed and feeds and weedkiller are off limits... even if they do say they are pet friendly after they dry.....

what about mosiquto and ant control???

Well...I'm looking out back and I see way too many dandelions. I heard they can...Mine must not like weeds. Good Luck

you can always go at them the old fashioned way.

the weeds, I mean. Check out one of Jerry Baker's books, he might have some good suggestions. Or readjust your thoughts on how much you dislike weeds?

We use the usual weed control and bug killer for the mole crickets and haven't had a problem with our chickens.

Depending on the size of your yard and flock, you may have a GRASS free yard if they free range.

I am amazed at how effective my girls are at tossing up the dirt.

And I say that fondly.
