Quick advice needed...
Due to construction, last August we had to abanondon the waterlines on the back of the house, which meant my garden. We let it go wild and die in the heat.
The garden then filled up with Phoenix crabgrass...
At the beginning of the summer, DH restored water to garden, but rather than tilling entire yard, he sprayed weed killer everywhere. Three weeks ago, he re-sprayed my garden with prejudice. (I know, I know! I could kill him!!)
So my question: Can I let the chickies have PE in the garden?
It has been three weeks, it has not rained this year. I have not watered the garden because of the crabgrass. The dogs have had no trouble with the weed killer and there are no piles of dead city birds around my garden area. Are the chickies OK to play?
