Weed killer

So I haven't used weed killer for few years before getting my chickens and ducks because I like my dandelions and I like the bees I feel like it's just unnatural. That being said these vine creepy crawling weeds are overtaking my yard. They will choke out the grass that my animals thrive in. I have a weed control service that is supposed to be safe for pets after 30 minutes, what are you alls thoughts/ ideas please

I would spray part of the vine and then put a cage over it so notice eats it. I feel that the safe for animals is if they walk on it, not eat it.
