Weeds?

We have a few weeds near the chicken coop and when I let the out to play they peck at them (along with everything else they see lol) can weeds be harmful in anyway?

Many weeds are edible and harmless to chickens and in all the years I've free ranged my flock, I've never had a problem with one of them eat something they shouldn't. They seem to know instinctively which plants to avoid.
