I'm getting them for .......$2.00 ea!!!!!!!! hmmmm maybe I should lower my price on my ducklings. It's a 3hr round trip... but hey......Cocoa Scovies!!!!! Ooohhhh, I can hardly wait. It is going to be a very long two and a half more days. I'm hoping my Chloe will let the 4 Cocoa ducklings join her 2wk olds. Pictures hopefully, Sunday!

WOW...$2 for a duckling... I just sold one yesterday - asking price $7- The guy gave my $10 as he thought $7 was too low as he had just bought some from a market for $15 each- these are Pekin Ducklings I am talking about and I am in Australia- But still $2 is super cheap- It would hardly cover the cost of incubating them and feeding them for two weeks.

Hope all goes well with Chloe accepting the new ones as well.

Well, we have our mama Scovies brooding them and I do believe the gal I'm getting them fm free ranges them w/mama duck & doesn't supplement their feed much. (My Scovies have feed avail. 24/7, daily snacks, along with running around on about 1.5 acres) Around here it's difficult to get more than $3-$4 for ducklings & Scovies don't seem to be in great demand.

Maybe I will hold to asking $4.00ea for just a bit longer as people are just now beginning to look for them around here since the weather is finally warming up.

I wish you weren't so far...I'd buy lots of your scovies...I just love them.

Thanks!

That is so cool! And two dollars? That is great! Mine were just a few days old and I paid $4.00 and had to travel as well, and felt good about it.

Have a safe drive!

Congrats! And take lots of pics!!

I sell my Pekins for $3 each and they fly out the door. I have people drive 2 and 3 hours to come get my Pekins because where they live, they're selling them for $8. Sure I could raise my prices but they wouldn't sell as well. So I don't mind selling them for $3. They sell at 1-3 days old usually.
