Week Old Baby Has Lice D'x Help Please,and The Adults Do To

HELP i went out to my brand new baby pullet (the only survivor of 7 eggs to hatch) and found lice/louse!!!!!! i dusted her in permethrin prozap garden and poultry dust, and that was yesterday. today i was determined to hunt down the sorce and discovered almost all the adults in the main flock have them to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they werent there a month ago??!?!?!?! and all egg production has stopped.(im assuming its becouse of the lice) WHAT DO I DO IM DESPERATE!!!!!!! i have an order of 13 day old chicks comeing in sometime on the week of the 18th and i need to know what to do obviously im going to separate them and then re dsut the week old i have now in 10 days but will that be good enough?? and what do i do about the adults??? i am going to change all the bedding in the adults coop, but is that enough? idk how to post pics but

sounds like you're getting it under control. lice can come from birds flying in and out, it's not hard to believe it's there now when it wasn't a month ago. i used the liquid permethrin on mine, tomorrow is treatment number two, and yes i'm getting a few more eggs now than i was, and expect by the end of the next week, i'll be getting more as well. study the lice treads here, you'll find they only live on a host, not so much worry about them being in the bedding/nest boxes. if it was mites, totally different story, but lice want to stay on the birds.
