Week old chick limping

We have a week old chick who started limping on one leg yesterday. I have separated him and put him (or her) in with one other chick who seems to be very gentle with him as the others were just running all over him and knocking him down. Does anyone know why he might be doing this or how I might help him?

Poor guy. Hope he gets better soon.

Any signs of cuts, a break or swelling? If not, I would just give him an easy to grip surface, easy to reach food and water, plenty of warmth to aid healing and vitamin/mineral rich foods like scrambled eggs. Hopefully he'll feel better in a few days and can be reintroduced. However, if he continues to be weaker than the others, I would suggest keeping him with his one buddy until he gets stronger.
