Week old Speckled Sussex chick pecked in leg by bully hen. Mama did not defend chick.
Chick is limping and holding leg up. Occasionally hops but prefers to lay down. Eating and drinking. Chick has white legs and the part of the leg itself near hock looks redish, I am guessing thats where it was pecked? Unsure if it is slipped tendon. I can stretch the chicks leg out but its toes seem floppy and weak.
