i am wondering if anyone has advice about what to do when a chick is vomiting. i have 4 chicks, 3 from a local farm, one a bit younger, and added in 3 days later(bantam white silkie) from the feed store). seemed as if all was well in mixing the silkie in, but this morning i noticed she was a bit flat. took her out for a cuddle and to check on her and she was really not well. per advice from a friend, i used the electrolyte/vitamin stuff, and dropper fed. she seemed to perk up quite well after this and a bit of egg yolk and sugar H2o (took this on her own) ( feed store advice)...but now she has been vomiting drippy clear stuff. seems almost mucousy, bubbles or comes out in a long bit from beek. i am worried i gave too much at one time. i put her back in w/ the others for a bit, and she tries so hard to cuddle up w/ them, insisting on being in the middle...the others just run off from her....now she's in my arms again, quite content. advice? thanks for any info you can share, much appreciated!

from Ohio. So glad you joined. Sorry to hear about your chick. You should post this under the Emergencies/Diseases/ illness. You should get better responses there.
