Week old chicks missing

I went out into the garage to find my week old chicks missing. There are four of them and i cant find them. I checked on them 2 hours earlier and they were still there it is now dark and i cant find 1. There is no signs of blood like an animal got them or anything. Is there any tricks to finding them or getting them back? Im desperate!!!

How confounding. I hope they are just hiding in a dark place. I hope something like a snake didn't show up!! Maybe make a baby duck or mama duck sound to see if you get an answer?

We dont have much for snakes around here in northern michicgan but the doors were open for ventilTion so they could even be out in the cold night. I left there food out though
