Hello! Me again (I did say in my introduction post I'd be asking lots of questions lol!).

So I have week old Pekins(from what I've been told) and my fiance and I let them swim in our tub last night, and I think they had a blast. They swam, put their heads in, all that. We knew that we had to fully dry them off because they don't have oils yet, my question though, is this actually safe? I happened to Google letting ducklings swim and I see so many mixed opinions. The water was very shallow and they swam for less than 30 mins. But I don't want to do anything that would kill them!
Should I wait longer? Are there definite signs that their body temp is too low? What do I do if I see these signs?

I didn’t let mine swim until week three but that is still way before the normal time. There are people here who have let their ducks swim on day two. As long as you dry them completely (mine love the blow dryer) and put them back under a heat lamp they should be fine.

Thank you! Do you know any signs I should watch for after we've dried them and put them back?

In the water on day two here supervised by mum. They dry out very quickly.
