Week old ducklings swimming

The only reason it could possibly be unsafe is if they are unsupervised. I just hatched 3 pekins and i put them in the sink at 3 days old. They swam, i watched, took them out after a bit, towel dried them, and put them back in the brooder to preen and finish drying off. Youll know if theyre too hot or too cold. When i was a newbie i had the heat lamp RIGHT above them and they were literally panting. As long as theyre snuggly youre ok. Dont over think too much :):)

Thank you! I do have to remind myself not to think too much. I'm a natural worrier lol
