I have a week old Polish chick and was wondering how old it needs to be before you can tell the sex of it?

You would probably need to wait until it's feathered out. So you can try again around the 6 week mark and work from there.

Agreed; and don't get discouraged if the gender is still uncertain at 6 weeks. Polish can be one of the more difficult breeds to sex at an early age. You may need to post again around the 10 week mark.
