WEEKEND 3/13 & 3/14 - What's happening?

Since the weather isnt cooperating, looks like some indoor projects are on the agenda and maybe a little R&R.

Had big plans, all changed now.

Called out this morning for a 12 hr shift of OT, probably tomorrow too.

Day 1 - Saturday - The frame work is complete on the run addition.
Day 2 - Sunday - Still have to wire in all the sides.

The wind has been HORRID today. I feel sunburned, but I guess it is a wind burn.

Hmmm... let's see.... pay bills, work on the ol' computer, buy hatching eggs (Lol!), bid on stuff, buy stuff (can you tell we just got our tax refund?), shopping, get hay, straw, shavings, clean the house (just a little!), play with the dogs, swim in the back yard (tide came in, we got flooded again). That's all.

Set up the brooder yesterday and went to the state championship hockey game that my school was in and today I might go to the movies with with my girlfriend because my yard is a like a lake with all this rain...oh and waiting for my chicks to come tomorrow!

yesterday I built some planter boxes and got them ready for the plants that are coming on Monday (blueberries, wolfberries, kiwi, raspberries and blackberries). Today is church and rest!

To all those with swimming pools as Back Yards - - - I'm sorry you are getting too wet.

We are still high and dry. Today the high is 65 and WINDY. VERY, VERY, VERY Windy.

I got the coop painted - even in the wind. I started VERY EARLY before the wind got too bad.

My DH is working on putting the wire on the new additional run area for the chickens.
I was hoping to start and finish it this week, but I don't think we are gonna make it!

It looks like it will be a 2 weekend project. The silly chickens are sitting at the edge of the fence watching us.
It is like they KNOW this new are is for them.

We did not finish our weekend Project

We were close though. We needed one more day to finish it.

So, next weekend the girls with get to move into the addition.

I am sure they will be very happy.
