WOW!! That is such a great chicken pad!!! I love the sliding doors, and the cute little chicken gang-plank up to the door! And the metal accents!!! You have done a great job, those babies are lucky!

I'd love to use the roost poles like you have, but I heard your not supposed to use anything with bark on it because of mites? Is this true? Anyone?

The coop looks great. We finally started building our coop this past weekend, I'll post some pics of it soon, since I used yours as a model to build ours. I am not a carpenter but with all the great pics u have posted it has helped a lot. The difference being that I am building it for 70 chickens lol.

The chainsaw action and the roosts are a great touch. I'm pretty sure Manswers will want to put it in their show -Adding a Man's touch to the chicken coop!

I really had to lol when I saw the guineas!! This poultry addiction is some serious stuff

We started out with 3 little OEGB when my favorite aunt passed away last October. I had to have them because they were hers. Now we are up to 21 and counting

Just can't seem to stop. I keep seeing more breeds that I just have to have. Better start on that second coop as soon as you are done with the first

everyone knows I have horses, chickens, garden ... I spend all day behind a computer,, when I get home I am not inside. I am out in the barn having a mental health break while I feed, clean and take care of my animals. Now it's time to start prepping the garden.

Your coop/hen house is fantastic. I have metal artwork inside my barn. It sure adds to the look

I get this too. I will return a missed call 3 hours later and get "why didnt you answer your phone, or your email"? They are always MAD too.... Like I was SUPPOSED to be waiting for them to call.

I agree with you, I wish I had more people my age around here to do projects with. I like doing them by myself, but it is more fun with other people helping.... It is also fun to have people help drink the beer at the end of the day too!
