My four-week old blue runners could not wait to get out to play in the rain. It was so dark this morning - too early to sex at 4 weeks?

Yep...its too early, the only way you could sex them, not always correct, is to listen to them speak. If they quack loud, its a female, if they made a raspy quack or a chirp, its a male.

Thanks, they provide minute-by-minute entertainment. 2 of the three are always talking when I am around "weep-weep" noises, almost a honk sound and little whistle sounds. Then there is "little one" that talks the least - this one is also less likely to eat from my "beak" (fingertips).
