weezing

I had to cull one of my white leghorns this evening.This morning I noticed she wasnt as active as the other chickens.She had poopie butt,but it was not on her anus,it was around it,not blocked.I caught her (easy to catch too,did not zig zag like a leghorn does),she was weezing lightly.Any ideas what I was dealing with? All my other hens and roo are fine,but i'll be observing them closely.Thanks for your assistance.

Check them for mites, sometimes if they have parasites they can make them ill. Just the other day i noticed some chickens loosing feathers and a few sneezes here and there, I checked their vent area and they had crusty poo around their vents and were crawling with mites. I went on a mite dusting frenzy cleaning out every box and dusting each chicken, today they seem to be doing much better. If no mites than im not sure what to tell you

Thanks Chickenaddict. I checked them the other day for mites and lice,all clear.Also no feathers have been lost.I've dealt with feather lice before and took care of them with 7 dust.
