We've been sort of half-***ing it by holding the birds while standing on the bathroom scales, lol. It'll give you a decent ballpark, but we would like to get a good set of proper small scales and a method to weigh our birds with more precision. Does anyone have any suggestions? Info appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Digital scales are very accurate. I think you could probably just set the bird down on the scale and as long as it stayed still a digital scale would give an accurate weight.

I use a set of postal scales that I bought at a garage sale for $10.

I attached a perch which allows the chook to roost without moving around.
