Weight loss? Any supporters?

I think I've had at least 500 calories today...so another 500 and I am done. I'm going to make a pita pizza with basil from my garden. I just finished 20 mins of a yoga sequence.

Let's keep it going! My fiance said I felt skinnier the other day; that's one of his best compliments! :D

This week has been bad for exercise. Due to schedule issues I haven't made it to the gym this week. I hope I can get in today, or tomorrow. I have gotten some outdoor activity, but it is so hot here again that it is hard. Today is a fasting (under 500 calorie) day, so wish me luck.

I lost another 4# bringing my total to 36.
I bought a bicycle last Saturday. What a vaudeville act! I hadn't ridden a bike in over 15 years so my husband had to balance me while I got installed and then pushed me down the driveway to get me started. So I am trying to ride each morning, extending my trip.
Some other WW friends and I are joining the local Tribe's Recreation and Fitness Center where they have Curves type equipment and a lap pool, water aerobics and more. That will be great for the coming winter when the snow will prevent bike riding.

I've been totally bad this week. I've always been a light sleeper but lately I was only able to sleep a couple hours a night. I tried everything...cutting the caffiene, herbal tea, melatonin, hot milk...nothing worked. I was exhausted and cranky all day. I was able to get in with my doctor and she gave me something to help me sleep so I'm finally back to normal and ready to work out again.

I did pretty well. I cut out all snacks (I was bad and mindlessly ate all day while sitting at my desk at work) and replaced my chips/pop with ice water. I also packed lunches (rather than buying them). I haven't really noticed a difference in my weight but I feel better. I also was able to pull up (and over my booty) my jeans that I've had for almost 3 years and never been able to wear. I wasn't able to close them or zip them...but just getting them up my thighs and over my butt was a pretty big accomplishment. And yes, pun intended!!! LOL

I have been 188 for about a week now.Money is tight though due to insurances and school fees,so I won't have the cash to buy things for the family that I would be tempted to eat! Got the volumeterics diet book this week from the library,so I will be trying out some of the recipes mentioned. I like to eat a lot at once,so I need to pick those calories wisely.

It is cold and wet here so the urge to work outside has dropped even though I still have a lot to do!
