Weight of eggs

My eggs seem to be getting heavier the longer they're in the incubator...Is it my imagination?

I would think the developing chick would weigh more then the liquid yolk and white? Thats just my guess!

Yes as the chicks in the egg develop the eggs should become heavier.

Actually the egg should weigh 15 to 20% less at hatching, Than when it was put in the incubator
