For the past three days one of my 5 month old pullet chicks have been favoring one of the nesting boxes.
She is not ready to lay yet so it was strange from the start.
This morning when I opened the coop so they can go into their run she came out really exited and energetic, but not 2 hours later I saw her at one of the drinking bowls drowsing.
When I went to pick her up to see what was wrong I felt that her crop had only water in and then she expelled some of the water from her crop and just proseeded to drink more. I have her seperated now so she doesn't drink water and 'Vomit' again.
Because no way that is healthy.
I gave her a handful of feed and she has ate it all but I stil see her drowsing now and then

Chickens drink excessive amounts of water when they have a blockage. A flush is what I suggest. Flushes can be mild or extreme according to how blocked up a chicken is. So I suggest a mild solution to start with. Give her one fourth cup warm water with one teaspoon molasses dissolved in it. Give this as her only water until she drinks it all.
