Weird behavior?

I came home today to find two of my three 6 week old Buff Orps doing some sort of burrowing behavior in the saw dust. They didn't get up and move when I walked into the coop. One of them seemed to be rolling around on its back. Is this nesting behavior? Is this early? My nesting boxes are almost done, but should I plan to complete them ASAP?

They are dust bathing. It gets rid of insects in their feathers and helps oil their feathers.

They are dust bathing. Isn't it cute?! They do that to try and kill perisites (spelling?). When they get older and move outside you can put DE in their favorite dust bathing areas to help keep the buggies away.
