Hi I just noticed this weird bubble on the front right side of a good amount of my chicks, everything I have looked up so far says it’s an airsac and should be reabsorbed after a couple days and some people pop them? Can someone confirm this or help me understand what it is?

Do not pop them! That is the chicks' crop, part of their digestive system. Food is stored there temporarily until it moves further down to be digested.
Thank you! I thought it was so weird that people said to pop it it didn’t seem right to me, thank you for thorough explaining, learning something new here everytime!!

Those are full crops that you’re seeing. Perfectly normal.

Edit: When handling be sure not to put any pressure on the crop or the chick will vomit.
Thank you so much! very interesting, I try to barely handle the chicks since they are with their mother anyway but this is good to know for the times I do have to pick them up thanks so much!
