Hello, I have an amberlnk (named Butter) that seems to have a strange big red bump above her eye. I just noticed it today and I have been wondering what it was all day. Its really hard and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. Could it possibly be a tumor? Any help is appreciated! Thankyou!

Yeah it does. What should I do to treat it? Or should I just leave it be?
I generally leave stuff be to resolve by itself. Others would lance and flush it, that treat with a wound spray or cream. Just depends on how you feel about doing that stuff.

Wyorp Rock may be on later in the evening. The hen has a few marks on her comb and wattles that look like she might have been pecked, or possibly been bitten by insects. Just because of that, it may be an abscess. But I have also seen cysts around the eyes and face. Do you see a mark on the bump?

I would be tempted to get another pair of hands, clean it with betadine or alcohol, and poke it with a large sterilized needle. A small scalpel would work too. Then squeeze it to see if you get either solid cheese-like pus, or just blood out. Be very careful not to get it in her eye by holding a rag or gauze over the eye. Use some plain antibiotic ointment afterward.

I would keep an eye on her just in case she is getting fowl pox on her comb and wattles, but the marks look like little fly bites.

I didn't tag you because I figured I was always bothering you. Glad you gave your great advice as always. :)
