Every time I take the bucket of feed out to refill the big feeder, one of my EE hens takes a running jump and lands on my shoulder. She hangs out there until my bucket is empty and then jumps down and walks away. She doesn't even eat any of the food! I guess she just likes the view.... none of the other chickens do it, just her.

If I can get my wife to snap a shot of it, I'll post it...

one of mine crawls up my back and up to my shoulder when I bend down to feed them some treats, all I can think of is , is this going to result in chicken poop down my back? I have to say it's pretty cute.

I have a couple of hens that do that when they are trying to get away from a rooster. Nothing attracts dirty chicken feet like a clean, white t-shirt! [IMG]
