Weird Chicken Behavior

Sounds like a preditor has been stalking them to me! Mine hide under anything they can find if they hear a hawk or owl. Cold weather shouldn't change their moods. Cold weather. Make mine more active.

I'm use to the behavior we have owls that I know stand at least 30-36 " tall. Wish I had photos to prove it. My dogs got so use to them they wouldn't bark at them but the owls would land 10 feet from the dogs these owls are huge. I'm use to them running and hiding them one gives the all clear cluck and back to pecking they go.
